Mediterranean Ground Beef Kebabs

These quick and easy beef kebabs are a high protein solution to your weekly meal rotation! High protein meals are the cornerstone to a successful weight loss journey. Remember to keep it simple and always add in fresh vegetables for added fiber and nutrition.

  • 1 pound 85% lean Ground Beef
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons minced parsley + more for garnish
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup minced onion
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 wooden or metal skewers
  • Optional sides:
  • Hummus
  • Pita bread
  • Cucumber & tomato salad


  • If using wooden skewers, allow to soak for about 30 minutes before threading meat.
  • Preheat outdoor grill to 400 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl combine beef through black pepper. Mix well using your hands.
  • Form meat into long, oval patties and thread then onto each skewer.
  • Grease grill grates with oil and grill for about 20 minutes, turning over halfway through. Cook to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
  • While your kebabs rest, prepare a large platter with hummus, pita bread and cucumber tomato salad if desired.
