Crispy Parmesan Broccoli

Fiber can help keep you full and make weight loss easier! You don’t have to suffer through weight loss eating boiled broccoli, enjoy this super flavorful crispy parmesan broccoli that will have you finally enjoying eating all your veggies!

Ingredients
  

  • 2.5 pounds broccoli Crowns
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Zest of one lemon
  • ½ lemon juiced
  • Salt & pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 6 garlic cloves minced
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • In a large bowl, combine broccoli florets with olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and garlic. Toss well.
  • Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray or may drizzle with olive oil.
  • Spread broccoli in a single layer on baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven, turn over broccoli and add nuts evenly over broccoli.
  • Continue to bake for another 5 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
